From Jane:

A watercolor painting of moonlight over a river. The water is sparkling with the shimmery reflections of the moon. This scene is inspired by one of my students.

The magenta, plum, raspberry, rose-y glow is from my favorite hue of paint, quinacridone rose, manufactured by Daniel Smith. A lovely happy color that "paints" with a silky transparent flow.

The close-up photo on this page, shows a glimpse of the shimmer on the water. The paint used for the shimmer has flecks of mica in it, so it is a bit shiny.

This painting is ready for a standard size 8"x10" frame, or for your custom framing.

More About
Jane M. Mason

As a small child, I started taking art classes at Joslyn Museum in Omaha. Every Saturday morning I was at the museum for a class. As a five-year-old, I won my first art contest and distinctly remember the drawing I had created being used on the cover of the spring catalog for Joslyn Museum. My childlike enthusiasm for art and happiness creating art is in my DNA now. It’s part of every piece of art I create.
